this is my neice. as you can see she precious. also note she is learning to smile, which i have chosen as the name of a new series of pics. i hope to post some more soon.
in this one, she has this rock --which she dragged around all day on the beach-- as her friend. she wanted a picture of her and her friend together. as you can see i couldn't say no. no waay. |

it's funny how beautiful her smile is, and then when she sees the camera she pulls a face that...vaguely resembles a smile. it's adorable, but if you really want a good pic, you've got to catch her unawares. let the games begin! ..miss her ):

Photographing children is always a lot of fun. But you have to move fast if you want to catch a good shot where the lighting isn't so good! I love the lighting in this shot, though. I feel like I'm almost there.
