the year was 2006. africa. south. a crispy wind tip-toed on our faces as we set off on what would be a thrilling, yet distinctly bittersweet evening. we splashed-danced on a grainy mirror until we could no more. the glorious sky colouring our smiles as if to wipe away the tears to come. yes, it was as if nature itself united-- contributing to the occasion in a gesture of consolation. we sat for a moment in silence as our sunbeam laughter made it's final bow and disappeared behind tomorrow....

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
